I remember his student days in Bangor when I was a young Doctor working in its hospitals. Dewi was known as the perpetual student as he was always studying and learning something new. I got to know Dewi and Maggie with their generous acceptance and open home and was involved in setting up the new church community with them there. Dewi was passionate for truth and the 'Westminster Confession' and he was significant in seeing the project through.

He also welcomed Stanley as a frequent guest [when Stanley started courting me!] and then years later they ended up working together with Tearfund !
